Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Build and run r1955 on Linux
  2. Enable Dual Core mode
  3. Load and run any game

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is the output from single core mode, which is a
rendering window and the game struggling to play in the emulated
environment as usual. :) The actual result is no video rendering or sound
output (I tested this on games whose intros normally had sound) and no real
"output" at all. The emulator doesn't hang, you can still stop emulation
and load another game with Dual Core off and the new one runs just fine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r1955 on Linux 64bit, Ubuntu 8.10.

Please provide any additional information below.
The dual core mode in Linux worked sort-of with the 1855 build. Games would
load and run, but I appeared to be having strange input issues, the game
would only advance frames so long as I was holding down some key on the
keyboard? Very strange indeed, but at least it was something.

...I just realized that I couldn't possibly have been playing on r1955, that's not
out yet. Let me see what it really was...

r1922. I was close.

I don't see any problem with latest svns.
Can you confirm if it's still there?

I tried on both 32 bit linux and 64 bit linux and couldn't reproduce whatever your
problem was.

I'll be merging this to the usual unstable DC issue, but if you have something
linux-specific you are welcome to reply here and I'll reopen this.
