Description

  1. Game Name and ID (as it appears in right click > properties: "GZ2P01",
    "RSBE01", etc):
Sorry, can't check this at the moment

2) What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The game doesn't see the nunchuck if you launched the game with it already plugged.
Game should go directly to wii motion+ calibration, but it asks to plug nunchuck while it's already there.

3) Did the game ever work correctly (i.e. not have this problem) on an
earlier version of dolphin? Please specify the exact revision when the
problem began.
Didn't check

4) What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Pair wiimote
2.Plug the nunchuck
3.Start the game

5) What version of dolphin are you using (32bit/64bit along with the
version as it appears in the title bar, etc)?
On what operating system, drivers, and hardware? Be sure to list OS,
graphics driver information, and video card model if you are having
graphics problems, for example.
Dolphin 64, under Win7, using MS bluetooth stack with real wiimote with integrated motion+.

6) Please provide any additional information below.
This bug is no big deal, I just submit it because it's still a bug.
If you start with the nunchuck unplugged, then plug it when it asks for it, it works fine.
Toggle wiimote off (alt F5), unplug nunchuck, then toggle it on then plug the nunchuck back when it asks, is also ok.

I'm using a similar but not identical setup and do not have this problem:

  • Dolphin 3.0
  • Mac OS X 10.6
  • wiimote with integrated motion+

I already have the nunchuck plugged in when pairing, does that make a difference?

Game ID is SOUP01, by the way.

have you tried just pairing the wiimote with the nunchuck pluged in? not really an issue here since it makes sense to do that if your going to play 99% of wii games.

sorry mis-read the title, yea iv had this issue aswell, but it only seemed to happen when i was using emulated wiimote+ maybe you have a fake M+ from deal xtreme or something, I use the limited edition zelda wiimote and dont have the issue.

No, it's a genuine Nintendo wiimote and there's no emulated controller.

I have seen this issue as well, however if you just leave it at that screen for a couple of seconds it will continue to the calibration screen.

Possibly related to issue 4608.

Tried it 8 times. At no point was I stopped from playing by the nunchuk screen. It appeared twice, but immediately vanished. All the other times it never appeared at all.

Tested in 3.5-336.

Hello, unfortunately I also have this problem. I tried with different nunchuck and remote controls. I tried to install nowei old versions of dolphin. I tried the combination ALT + F5. turn off mainstream waited and unfortunately still nothing. even've downloaded several different skyward sword PAL, and even some sort of different versions and still nothing. I see that there is no specific reason given. Mario Galaxy 2 I normally work smoothly and quickly and nunchuck works seamlessly. no nothing was left to me to wait. maybe someone here benevolent write instructions on how to fix this problem
