Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 3.0-370 [x64 L102 ICC build by Lectrode]
A few minutes into the game the audio rapidly jitters and the game freezes. I can reset the problem by loading a save state, but a few minutes after the same problem just repeats. So I am not sure if you would actually call it a crash... If there is really a need for more information I can post Screenshots and record a video of what happened.
The only game that seems to work fine with DSP LLE audio backend (from the list of games I own) are Super Smash bros Brawl.
Specific versions of Dolphin, for example Lectrode delays the "crashing" it can be 10 minutes after, 30 minutes or instant like the original Dolphin versions.

Would you try reproducing this with the XAudio audio back-end and an official build from the main website?
Updated by alfi1936 almost 13 years ago
Yes, I have done both, multiple times, I tried tweaking settings for countless hours, with different versions, etc. I Have tried every possible option but nothing seems to work.

i had this issue before, LLE on Thread works for me again after i've deletead all files from User\Dump\DSP
Maybe i'm wrong but it worked for me
Updated by alfi1936 almost 13 years ago
Tried it, there was only a notepad file in there called UnkOps.txt i remove it but it creates another one when i launch dolphin, It didnt really do anything for me.... how many files are suppose to be in there?
Updated by danialhorton almost 13 years ago
get a clean dump of the dsp rom, dolphin might do a integrity check on it but it isn't infallible.
Updated by alfi1936 almost 13 years ago
And how exactly am i suppose to know its clean? ai already went over this before, the size of the files are correct, so i am not sure here...
Updated by alfi1936 almost 13 years ago
The max temp I have ever had was 80 ( on prime 95 ) but it really never goes above 65 doing anything
Updated by alfi1936 almost 13 years ago
I would really appreciate if the developers would try to find a fix for this issue, I am currently unable to play most of my games since the only playable way would be to use these options. Please help me :(

Have you tried Dolphin 3.0-415? Did that help any?

OMFG I JUST PLAYED IT WITH LLE ON THREAD FOR 15 MINUTES WITH NO CRASH!!! I THINK IT WORKS. THANK YOU SO MUCH QQ. I just hope it doesnt crash later on D:
Updated by alfi1936 almost 13 years ago
It seems to crash on start up sometimes, but during gameplay it does not. so its not 100% fixed. However I can play the game and that is good enough for me.
Updated by alfi1936 almost 13 years ago
As well it seems to crash when I use a REAL wii remote. That is very strange.

Is it really still an issue, i've used DSP LLE +Thread and everything worked fine
Updated by JMC4789 about 11 years ago
This still happens in some games, Mario Kart: Double Dash, and probably any other Zelda-ucode game. It didn't happen in xaudio first run, but it did in dsound!
Updated by JMC4789 over 10 years ago
I can no longer reproduce this in Zelda ucode games, played Mario Kart Double Dash, Wind Waker, and Super Mario Galaxy for an hour with zero crashes. This is unusual for me; as it usually crashes within a minute or two.
I don't think this is fixed on all machines, but maybe?

Is DSP LLE on thread still hanging in the latest development version?
https://dolphin-emu.org/download/
On 4.0-3106, I have not had DSP LLE on thread hang.
Updated by skidau about 10 years ago
I have created PR #1437 to fix this issue. Would some please let me know if the fix works for them? The option has been removed and DSP on thread will be auto-enabled if it is safe to do so.

- Status changed from Questionable to Fixed
Probably fixed; as you can no longer enable DSP on thread with Zelda ucode games.
