Wii remotes not working correctly on Linux (Ubuntu 11.10)

Description
On Ubuntu 11.10 Dolphin-emu does not sync to my remotes correctly. When I try to they sync fine, however the motor is constantly on and the remote is completely unusable. I've tried going to tools and disconnecting/reconnecting the remote but that doesn't help, the revision I'm using is 3.0-324
I'm not sure if this is a problem with dolphin or a problem with my configuration any help would be appreciated if it's not dolphin

I just pulled and compiled the latest revision (3.0-376) and the problem is still present

what kind of wiimote did u use?
my motion-plus (RVL-CNT-01) works fine under ubuntu 12.04 / 3.2.0.10 Kernel / 64bit

WiiMote+ RVL-CNT-01 I do have the new one, however that doesn't sync up at
all.

is the full bluetooth name RVL-CNT-01-TR ?(new m+) or just RVL-CNT-01 ? (old m+)
can u post any logs from terminal? or a hcidump?

I'm not currently on Linux, however I know it's not the TR as i bought the controller 2 years ago :P

I switched to debian and they work now :/

Not invalid, it does work, but then dolphin crashes when you try to use anything but an emulated remote <.<
