What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The emulator should normally open, but I receive an error and it doesn't
start. The error is an Unknown Software Exception (0xc000001d) at 0x005b48db.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using SVN build 1943, but I had the same problem on 1855. I haven't
tried previous builds. OS is Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 x86, 1 Gb
RAM and ATI Radeon 9600.
Please provide any additional information below.

From the main page : Requirements :
"
* Windows XP or higher, or a 64-bit Linux install.
* Fast CPU with SSE2. Dual core a plus.
* Any reasonable modern GPU, support for pixel shaders 2.0 required. "
does your CPU support SSE2 ?

slink IIRC we have a message box for that. We have built-in cpuinfo support.
