Description

Hi all!
I have a strange problem with dolphin (i'm using 3.0-432-dirty and tried the previous 3.0-427-dirty either 64 and 32bit)

i have a pc with pes2012 installed (and other games)
my problem is

  1. i run dolphin with super mario bros
  2. i exit dolphin
  3. i run pes
  4. the pad is not working ...
  5. i exit pes and run dolphin again (with supermario)
  6. go back to pes and everything ok. pad is working.

i tried to check on dev manager and found the gamepad working right.
i checked with x360ce and i found that when i exit from dolphin, the pad is not responding to x360ce (red light on tab name)

the only way to make the gamepad working
. enter again in dolphin and run supermario(or other games)

as soon as i enter in "test" tab of the joypad, the red light on x360ce go back to green and everything is fantastic...

the O.S. is windows 7 64bit with latest directx (reinstalled many times)
video drivers are nvidia (now 290.53)
i tried with sony ps3 controller adapter and with classic usb gamepad, and with xbox360 original controller

4) What steps will reproduce the problem?
the problem is appearing at every start of system, and after it appears randomly

IMHO there should be something left open about input on dolphin.close() method
hope you can help me, ask if you need more info.

thank you all for every second you will spend on this.

I stared getting a similar issue, but with ubuntu. As i start playing any game, randomly my gamepad (genius maxfire g12u) will stop working. To workaround it i have to either close and open dolphin or go to gcpad/wiimote configuration and hit the "refresh" button to get it working again.

  • Status changed from New to Invalid

Cannot reproduce issue.
Additionally, the XInput API does not even have a "shutdown" function.
I blame your x360ce.
