[The following is a template to help you fill out a more informative

Many games do not run yet, or have known problems. Please do not report
those games without giving any more information. That means reports like
"Game XYZ crashes" are not helpful. Instead try to include as much debug
information as possible. Also try to search the issue tracker for similar
bugs before creating a new issue.

1) Game Name and ID (as it appears in right click > properties: "GZ2P01",
"RSBE01", etc): Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen

2) What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
At a point in the first level, Left and right Wiimote swinging is needed. Even if Wiimote swing left and Wiimote swing right are assigned to buttons, the swing feature doesn't work. This has been tried by assigning the swing left and swing right on both keyboard and a gamepad. It was all the same for both- unresponsive.

3) Did the game ever work correctly (i.e. not have this problem) on an
earlier version of dolphin? Please specify the exact revision when the
problem began.
I only tried it on the latest version and cannot find other versions to download.

4) What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Reaching the point where we have to melee an enemy.
2. Pressing the buttons assigned for Wiimote swing.

5) What version of dolphin are you using (32bit/64bit along with the
version as it appears in the title bar, etc)? Do not say 'latest version' 32Bit. Version: Dolphin 3.0-497-dirty
this changes multiple times a day.
On what operating system, drivers, and hardware? Be sure to list OS,
graphics driver information, and video card model if you are having
graphics problems, for example.
I tried on Windows 7. Graphics driver- Nvidia PhysX. Video card model (I am still telling although this is NOT a graphic issue): Nvidia GEforce 9800GT 2.4GB

6) Please provide any additional information below.
No additional info.

7) Attachments. IMPORTANT! We have a limited storage quota on
GoogleCode, so please use a 3rd party host for screenshots or any other
files ( for example).

When you say you tried it with the latest version, do you mean Dolphin 3.0?

#3 Updated by shubhampuri99 about 8 years ago

If you have read the entire post, you would have seen that I have CLEARLY specified version as it appears on title bar.

Please use a real wiimote, buy a cheap bluetooth dongle so you can use the one that came with your wii.

Do I need a sensor bar too? Will a Nitho Wiimote work also? All images show Nintendo wiimotes.

#7 Updated by parlane about 8 years ago

Possibly? I don't have the game. I guess this issue is valid, and probably requires some tweeking of swing values to work with this game.

"Some Tweaking"
What kind of tweaking? Dead zone is 0.

#9 Updated by shubhampuri99 about 8 years ago

Settings with which I tried:

Dead zone: 0

P.S: I am writing because I remapped the controls to comfortably play some other game and I hadn't saved that layout.

I am facing the same problem. I tried to assign the controls of swinging to both a keyboard and a gamepad. Neither worked for me too. I even tried adjusting dead zone, still it didn't work. I tried it again with the latest dolphin version, released on approximately 4 days ago. This issue seems valid.

P.S: I haven't tried it with a real Wiimote. Also do confirm if Nitho Wiimote works with Dolphin.

Seconding this. I cannot get swing emulation to work at all with godzilla unleashed, and presumbly other games two. When set to an xbox 360's right thumbstick, you can see in the sensor preview that the red square doesn't move with the grey one. When set to the 360 controllers d pad, it does move, but it still doesn't work in game.

Many of these problems seem to be solved with:

I plan on making swing emulation much better in conjunction with emulated M+.

Emulated swinging does not suck nearly as much as it did.

Improvements will still be made but it is now usable.
