Description

Ok this has been happening in all revisions after dolphin 3.0 In super mario sunshine the game plays great and fast on my crappy Intel GMA 910 so when I play it runs smooth but after chasing the liquid mario aka Koopa and meeting him in Delfino square he draws the portal into the first world and the game begins to slow down MAJORLY at 1fps 1vps.

This ran fine in all other revisions before 3.0 but now this keeps it from being playable.

I don't experience any slowdown after that portal opens (Intel HD Graphics 3000, OS X, OpenGL). Also, I don't believe you're supposed to file GPU-specific issues, especially if a) you have a weak GPU, and b) you have an Intel GPU.

Also, you haven't even mentioned which OS or graphics backend you're using. That template's there for a reason.

the thing is it worked fine with my old weak cpu and just now it is doing this so if it worked before it can work again

sorry for double posting but to be specific on this the game runs at 25fps 50vps 75%
but once that portal opens it drops to 1fps 1vps 65% I don't play wii games and all the games I play on this I have tested and all ran at 25fps 50vps at most and there isn't any graphic errors in any games i've tested all revisions and some fix issues and some make new issues. So i dont see why my games are suddenly going slow if they ran fast on other revisions.

I'm not a developer and I don't pretend to be, so I'll let them look at this. But I don't really think they're gonna spend their time fixing a slowdown that only one person is experiencing.

If it worked fine in 3.0 but does not now, find out which revision caused that regression.

Im trying but anytime i switch back to revisions older then 3.0 the controls wont work and i re verify them on it. i wish I had posted this issue sooner but I didnt know where to post it at the time but Ill try and find what caused it. this will go back 1yr 1/2 of revisions cause thats how long this issue has been happening.

r7590 is where this error started. also it started many other errors this revision was the start off all the slowdowns ive had. I hope this helps

I'm also experiencing something like that. When I get to the first world, the framerate drops to around 60-70%. I'm not sure in which revision it started, because the first one I ever used is 3.0.

Also, it's the first game I ever experienced slowdowns. I played Luigi's Mansion a few days ago and it ran smoothly. I tried changing all graphic options to the lowest possible, but the issue remains.

Although there was the possibility that shatteredlites's hardware was causing the slowdown, you can see from my DxDiag.txt that it's not a bad hardware's fault.

It works just fine in later revisions but now it runs slow so if it was running fast before im sure its not just my cpu

Pinpoint this to any particular commit, otherwise I see no way to acknowledge this as a valid issue.
