Description

1) Game Name and ID (as it appears in right click > properties: "GZ2P01",
"RSBE01", etc):

Medal of Honor Frontline
GMFE69
USA / NTSC

2) What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Three videos/cutscenes are supposed to be shown. The first being EA's logo, the second being the Medal of Honor logo being shot up, and lastly a longer video showing WWII footage and etc.

Instead, a highly corrupt video is shown. Audio from the videos plays fine though, using HLE or LLE sound. The emulator does NOT crash, and continues to the game's menu like nothing was wrong.

The rest of the game works quite well (a little slow, but it did on GameCube as well). HLE audio is broken throughout most of the game. LLE works well.

3) Did the game ever work correctly (i.e. not have this problem) on an
earlier version of dolphin? Please specify the exact revision when the
problem began.

I've been using Dolphin for over two years now, don't believe MoH's cutscenes ever worked.

4) What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Load and start the game
  2. Wait for loading screen to pass
  3. Enjoy three corrupt videos/cutscenes.

5) What version of dolphin are you using (32bit/64bit along with the
version as it appears in the title bar, etc)? Do not say 'latest version'
this changes multiple times a day.
On what operating system, drivers, and hardware? Be sure to list OS,
graphics driver information, and video card model if you are having
graphics problems, for example.

Dolphin:
3.0-505, 64-bit, downloaded from dolphin-emulator.com.

PC:
OS: Windows 7 Premium x64
CPU: Core i5 2500K
GFX: Radeon HD 6950 1GB, running Catalyst 12.3.
RAM: 8GB DDR3 @ 1333MHz

All parts are at stock clockspeeds.

6) Please provide any additional information below.

The movie files that are played can be found at Disc->Data->MOVIES, named as "ealogo.mpc", "intro.mpc" and "title.mpc", without quotes. intro.mpc is the longer cutscene (quite a bit larger than the other files).

This game's compatibility is also unrated in Dolphin's game browser.

Dolphin Settings:
Dual Core Enabled
Idle Skipping Enabled
JIT Recompiler Enabled
Threads locked to cores
DX9 - Internal Resolution: Auto, multiple of 640x528
Texture cache, fast accuracy
Both HLE and LLE Audio, 48KHz sampling

Tried with DX9, OpenGL and software graphics plugin. All display the same issues.

If you have any additional questions/need additional info, just ask.

7) Attachments. IMPORTANT! We have a limited storage quota on
GoogleCode, so please use a 3rd party host for screenshots or any other
files (http://min.us/ for example).

What the final intro movie should look like:

What it does look like (there are some variations throughout the movie, mostly the same though):
