Emulator Issues #5433
closedCheat Manager not working properly

Description
- Game Name and ID (as it appears in right click > properties: "GZ2P01",
"RSBE01", etc):
Not game specific issue. Tried with a few diffrent and it is the same.
2) What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The issue lies with Cheat system. I am using Geck cheats. If i right click on a game and select proprties. If i set cheats there it will work. But for these cheats i would need to terminate game.
There is also an a cheat manager that can run ingame. When using gecko cheats i find that window a little small for a large number of cheats. Too much scrollong for me but i can live with this defect. After i set the cheats i find that it doesn't wok.
- What version of dolphin are you using (32bit/64bit along with the
version as it appears in the title bar, etc)?
I am using build: 3.0-638-dirty 64-bit.

I am sorry for a little confusing post but i need to add to my quote: "After i set the cheats i find that it doesn't wok.". The thing to add is that i pressed applay button and didn't work.

- Status changed from New to Duplicate
Because of the way Gecko cheats work, it is not possible to enable cheats after the game has started.

If that is the case, then shouldn't be gecko codes section be removed from cheat manager. Or make it so that it is obvius that gecko can not be modified while game is running and have description on how to use it. I spend a an hour just to figure on how to use cheats.
Also if that will happen. It should also say that the save state will save the codes.
