Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Run Dolphin
  2. Execute Wii Sports

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
ie. Tennis game, to hit the ball moving the mouse. Instead, I can only
lift the ball with A (which is the left mouse button)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r2054, Windows XP SP3

Please provide any additional information below.

Tried KB/X360PAD plugin. Tried nJoy, using my own joypad. Tried
configuring Wiimote as Sideways D-PAD. Tried left and right button
repeatedly and tried lifting mouse up and down. Nothing did work.

Also, OpenGL plugin doesn't work with this game. The characters won't
appear on screen.
I had to use Direct3D9.

ahem, OpenGl plugin works with this game.

also, there's no way to 'simulate' wiimote movements without using a real wiimote yet.
So you can't play this game if you don't have a real wiimote + a bluetooth dongle.

Dang! You mean I will have to spend like 150u$s on that (here a dollar equals to
3.50 pesos and pc hardware buys are that price plus 21% taxes on all shops... yep...
reeeally expensive) ? Lol, I spent a lot on building a decent PC...

Say... you're right about that OpenGL works. But, why on earlier versions the
characters didn't appear on screen? Is that because of the fullscreen mode or
something?

  • Status changed from New to Invalid

The wiimote has many parameters such as force, velocity and X/Y/Z orientation (thanks
to the gyro-ball inside)

These are just too many parameters to be emulated using a simple mouse and kbd.

I'm closing this as there is no 'real' issue per-se
