Description

  1. Any game, Wii or Gamecube

  2. Expected outcome is that the application disables the screensaver while in fullscreen mode, similar to how VLC does, but instead the screensaver activates as normal. Not sure whether the fault is with the application, or with the input device, a Wireless Xbox 360 Controller.

  3. Games work correctly.

  4. Set screensaver to x mins and play a game for that time with an Wireless Xbox 360 controller.

  5. I am using Dolphin 3.0-715 for Mac OSX, using an iMac 21.5" late 2011 model at 12GB RAM. Using Dolphin at 1920*1080 resolution, in full screen.

This may be the fault of your controller's drivers - I don't remember having this issue with a Wii Classic Controller connected via Wiiji.

it might be an os x / wxwidgets issue, i'm not sure if the code to evade screensavers is cross-platform

The code is not cross platform. Windows and linux use separate methods, and I don't think that this was ever implemented on OSX.

On OS X, this should be done by installing a power assertion while Dolphin is running.

On Yosemite 10.10.4 it still occurs so when I had screensaver set to 20 min than after 20 min of playing using real WiiMote screenserver pops.

Maybe it's because I'm using Asus USB-BT400 instead of original Apple BT?

This still happens in 10.11.6 for me. I believe this is due to the GameCube controllers not being recognized as proper inputs by the OS.
