I have mac version and using emulated controller works fine, but not real wiimote. Just crashes on sync.
2.8 ghz core 2 duo
ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB
6 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

I'm guessing you're using OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion ?
If so then it crashes on ALL Macs with OSX 10.8 upon connecting a WiiMote.

Actually a duplicate of #5442, with patch and patched binary.
