Have no problems with it. What are your CPU Specs? What kind of Linux do you use?

More specifically, the issue appears to be that the rendering window doesn't receive keypress events at all, at least for me. The OTHER window does (unless you turn on embedding of the game window into the game-list window).
Arch Linux 32bit, Fluxbox (WM), dolphin trunk from 20120803 with a WBFS patch - haven't had a chance to test latest yet.

Did I interpret the situation correctly?
"cannot leave fullscreen when using separate render window"?
Updated by willianholtz1 almost 12 years ago
Separate windows, ok, render in window, no!

Can you try this again? I think this has been fixed since at least the exclusive fullscreen merge.

Just thought I'd chime in that the issue is present for me in b307bb68d7bcccdcbdeae50012b04c747753d69e (4.0-3221).
Slackware 14.1
i5-2500K @ 3.8GHz
GTX 550 Ti
Finally got around to upgrading my previous Dolphin build 4.0-2005 or something, and I ran into this. It seems that it won't recognize any keypresses, however, it is useful to note that Alt+F4 (the combo in my WM to close windows) works just fine. It seems Dolphin only recognizes joystick input during gameplay, so perhaps it is ignoring WX input or events?
I wish I could track down the exact revision that seemingly reintroduced this bug, I'll see if I can spare a few moments next week for a bisect. I can confirm that when rendering it as a separate window, I don't run into any issues.

shonumi, does this work in the latest? The ability for hotkeys to be mapped to gamepads should fix this.
