Description

  1. Zelda Collector's Edition | PZLE01

  2. When selecting the NES games (zelda/zelda2) the games both boot up but are unplayable due to graphical issues (black screen with distortion pixels random)

  3. Never worked as far as i know and read since built r6088 and up.

4) What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Run the game
  2. select zelda/zelda 2
    3.
  1. Dolphin 3.0 776 32-bit.
    Windows 7
    I7 2600K 3.4ghz
    16gb memory
    HD 3000+ 850mhz

  2. I will provide a screen shot from one of the games, as out-put renders the same issue/effect for both games.

Having the same issue. Did you ever get it resolved?

no. but from what i understand, the reason being is that these are "emulated" or something on gamecube. So Dolphin doesn't emulate within an emulate. It would of been cool but i guess it will never work.

OMEGA, an emulator within an emulator is perfectly possible - I mean, OoT/MM work (or at least used to - someone broke them a few hundred revisions ago), and SNES/N64 Virtual Console games work. The problem is that Nintendo's NES emulator uses some graphical method that Dolphin doesn't emulate properly or at all.

It is a valid bug, and a fix will be made once we find out the cause. The problem is only lack of time.

This issue still exists with newest Dolphin, I will assume it will not be working.
