Emulator Issues #5708
closedSave State System Not Working
0%
Description
Game Name and ID:¶
all games that i try have the same issue
as its an issue with the Emulator itself.
im using the latest stable X64 3.0 version from 1 year & 4 months ago...
got it from --> http://dolphin-emu.org/download/
2) What is the expected output? What do you see instead?¶
when pressing SHIFT+F1 on my keyboard, well, it doesn't save.
nothing happens. same if i try to load a state using F1 key on
my keyboard, doesnt work.
- Did the game ever work correctly:
im new to dolphin emu in general,
and noticed the savestate issue right off the bat.
because of that, just to see, i tried another x64 version (3.0-813)
from --> http://dolphin-emu.org/download/
and i saw that there's a feature to make the emu always on top.
once i checked it, the savestate system works perfectly.
however, the latest stable x64 3.0 version doesnt have such a feature.
im not using the (3.0-813) version because it has issues in general
like the audio and stuff...
4) What steps will reproduce the problem?¶
- download --> http://dl.dolphin-emu.org/builds/dolphin-master-3.0-813-x64.7z
- extract
- run dolphin.exe
- run a gamecube game
- actually play the game for like 3minutes
- then try to hit SHIFT+F1 to savestate
- savestate wont work
- What version of dolphin are you using:
im using latest stable version dolphin 3.0 x64.
im running win7 x64 premium on an AMD A8-4500M
with dedicated Radeon HD7660 graphics card.
6) Please provide any additional information below.¶
like i said, what will probably fix this savestate issue
is if you add that ALWAYS ON TOP feature
in the latest curren stable version of the DOLPHIN emu.
THANKS FOR YOUR WORK EVERYBODY :)
those games without giving any more information. That means reports like
"Game XYZ crashes" are not helpful. Instead try to include as much debug
information as possible. Also try to search the issue tracker for similar
bugs before creating a new issue.

Try 3.0-790, and if that doesn't work, ask on the forums, not here.
