2.0? We're already past 3.0! Go get 3.0 or 3.0-845. http://dolphin-emu.org/download/

Used 3.0 and there was an error with the rendering. The grass had lines in it and the doors would blink in and out of existence.

Yes. I have Version 3.0-845 Dirty
This is the error here. It is actually very hard for me to look at. I quit the game without saving so I just took a screenshot of the title screen. But its the same error playing the actual game. The error is in the red square.

...Huh, I've seen this issue before, I forget how it's fixed. Try toggling EFB to RAM or sliding the texture cache slider to the left.
Also, the wiki page actually confirms your telescope issue. I'd double-check, though. http://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Animal_Crossing:_City_Folk

Tried that. Tried changing things. Still lagged. Still lines. Still no stars.

Try NOT to change these settings while ingame.
Try at 1x IR with EFB to RAM without cache. Set Texture Cache accuracy to the leftmost value. Disable scaled EFB copies.

That was all default except the Texture Cache.
