Description

It seems like the cause of this is the recent Resident Evil fixes (ones
that make them fullscreen).

R2069 kinda fine.
R2195 wrong.

Also, Snake moves in a jerky way, when the analog controller is at 100%
instead of moving steadly, he moves like u were taping it. (100%, 0%, 100%,
0%, 100%, 0%...).

WXP SP3.

Rename issue as seen fit.

The same regression is visible with Metroid Prime 3 (graphics are gone) and Super
Mario Galaxy (only a % of the screen is being rendered "properly").

Yeah something changed with the sync of the movements in the wind waker too, I can

It feels jerky somehow, tho in MGS it really makes the game not enjoyable at all,
takes minutes to move a couple of yards.

federelli, please try to track the exact revision. (just use binary search)

I can sense it means that a cheat in the wind waker is now working partially (press R
to supersprint makes link start crawling after a short while, which he didn't and
shouldn't in r2069)

Can't seem to reproduce Zelda's jerkyness on r2303 non-soap, didn't try soap branches.
Metal Gear's there in every single revision, even before r2609, can't seem to find a
revision where he moves properly.

so it isn't specific revision trouble eh?

yeah the zelda input has been fixed (I didn't have input at all because of my build
folder, I erased it and kept my memcard and now zelda works fine)

The graphic regression is rev specific. The input thing no. Original title was "Metal

You're using nJoy, could you try with the keyboard plugin ?
It may be an issue with the joystick ranges or an issue with the game itself.

What framerate do you get in-game ?

As much as i want, i can OC my prosessor to get full speed. so anywhere from 30 to
over 60 when sound is disabled.

So it even happen with the keyboard plugin ?
damn... Mine works fine with both the joystick and the keyboard, i'm using 32bits
build around 410Mhz speed. I though it could be an issue with the joystick.
Have you tried to use the JITIL Build ?

Yessir, both IL and non-IL, 32bit only, I've no 64bits system to try it on.

Hilarious, doing what you say on issue 1079 fixes the controller bug.

"b4 loading the iso if you go to the control plugin, unselect the "Controller Attached"
box then RE-selecting it, loading the iso, going in game, stop the emulation via
"Emulation/Stop" (Without closing the emulator) then reloading the iso
this issue gets fixed"

It breaks again inmediately after the first engine video, for example, when the
elevator comes down at the start.

Does no break after the video, when i discovered this "solution" i played for a whole
hour without any problem....
well i havent checked with nJoy... i used keyboard plugg

i will try to play the whole game with nJoy now (since i only checked if the
"solution" i gave worked on booth pluggins, but didn't actually advanced from the
first part of the game with nJoy) but so far im in inside the facility an control
didn't break

returns to its rapidfire mode.
