Description

[The following is a template to help you fill out a more informative
report]

Note:
Many games do not run yet, or have known problems. Please do not report
those games without giving any more information. That means reports like
"Game XYZ crashes" are not helpful. Instead try to include as much debug
information as possible. Also try to search the issue tracker for similar
bugs before creating a new issue.

--------------------------------------

  1. Game Name and ID (as it appears in right click > properties: "GZ2P01",
    "RSBE01", etc):

Skies Of Arcadia
GEAE8P

2) What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The game plays just fine until it freezes randomly. I've noticed there is no pattern on how it freezes. The game just decides to stay on the same frame and becomes unresponsive.

3) Did the game ever work correctly (i.e. not have this problem) on an
earlier version of dolphin? Please specify the exact revision when the
problem began.

I've tried earlier versions of dolphin with no success. It works for the longest time on more recent versions of dolphin but it still only runs for a couple of minutes. I am using Dolphin v3.5-141

4) What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.Open Skies of Arcadia Legends.
2.Play for a couple of minutes.
3.Game freezes.

5) What version of dolphin are you using (32bit/64bit along with the
version as it appears in the title bar, etc)? Do not say 'latest version'
this changes multiple times a day.
On what operating system, drivers, and hardware? Be sure to list OS,
graphics driver information, and video card model if you are having
graphics problems, for example.

I've tried playing in 32 and 64 bit mode. I encounter the same problem in both.

6) Please provide any additional information below.

I have tried various configurations and settings but none seem to fix the freezing problem. I currently am running the emulator with no audio. Sometimes the animation will keep going but the controls become unresponsive. At other times it freezes completely (no animation just a frame) and the speed displays around 600 %.

GoogleCode, so please use a 3rd party host for screenshots or any other
files (http://min.us/ for example).

I've never had that happen to me and/or seen that issue reported on the forums (several people played through that game successfuly). Could you try to redump your game?

What do you mean redump? Should I just take out the iso from the dolphin menu and put it back in? Sorry I'm not very skilled with computers.

Dump your game from your disc again, like you did the first time to get it on your computer.

I can confirm these random hangs using an iMac 3.33Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo.
Game is running with "normal" settings aside from the Skies of Arcadia "hack" in the menus. Also, it's running with HLE sound options (Not sure if hangs occur with LLE as game is WAY too slow for me to test with LLE).

Note: I think I got this hint from the forums, but disabling dual cores in config seemed to eliminate all random hangs, but speed suffered significantly.
