Description
After compiling dolphin following the instructions on issue 5740 on fedora 18 x86_64 wiimote icon is not visible.
The menu option to configure wiimote show the letters and controls on pale grey and althoug it seems to work, the wiimote never get connected.
Same wiimote, usb dongle worked on fedora 17 x86_64 ( not sure wich revision of dolphin ).
On rpmfusion package the wiimote connect but it's affected with the blank screen problem described on issue 5740.

was bluez found in cmake configuration?
"bluez found, enabling bluetooth support"
Updated by aitkiar almost 12 years ago
Yes.
The only complains in cmake are:
-- Could NOT find SDL2 (missing: SDL2_LIBRARY SDL2_INCLUDE_DIR)
and
Found wxWidgets version 2.8.12
At least 2.9.3 is required; ignoring found version

If you're getting the latest rev from git you shouldn't need that patch, it's already been committed.

I can confirm this bug, it's happening since a few revisions ago, I'm using Debian Wheezy with kernel 3.7.1 and Dolphin (last revision) Recognize my wiimote, but this doesn't work at all ingame, I'm using an early version of Dolphin (revision 3.5.125) and it's working fine here, I think this bug only affect linux :(

- Issue type set to Bug
- Category set to ui
- Operating system N/A added
Determine the exact revision which introduced this issue.
I question its existence..

This issue is dumb.
"wiimote icon is not visible" - I don't think we even have logic to make that happen.
"The menu option to configure wiimote show the letters and controls on pale grey" - Again, wtf
And then people are talking about real wiimote connection issues too?
Whatever, we have other issues for that.
