Description

Have you searched the issue tracker for a similar issue?

-> I did: most of them related to problems configuring axis/cursor; by the way i tested both configs and tried different solutions, anything works

Game Name? Game ID?

->All games i tried

What went wrong?

-> Hi, I have a problem with different Dolphin versions i tried
IR Pointer is not working in any game and it drives me crazy.

What did you expect to happen? /What steps will reproduce the problem?

-> IR Pointer is not working in any game.
In Emulated Wiimote 1 Configuration, IR Pointer is set on Cursor Position :
Up: Cursor Y-,
Down: Cursor Y+
Left: Cursor X-
Right: Cursor X+
So It should recognise the mouse as pointer with no problem, and it works fine in that test square with the red dot as the pointer pointing.
[Hence the mouse is recognised]
But when I boot any game and try to get the IR Pointer poiting, I simply put the Cursor in the game and I see the Windows Cursor normally, but not the hand or in-game emulated pointer. I've already tried everything I found in these forums, and i write this as similar to another (by the way unsolved) in-forum issue.
It seems the mouse is not recognised at all in-game; it recognise the clicks and every button, but not the cursor movement.

I expected to use my mouse just as pointer, just the way it is meant to.

What version of Dolphin were you using?

-> Different versions from 3.0-670-dirty to the most recent one, 3.5-367

What version of Dolphin used to work?

-> Howerver this didn't happen in a revision version, (r7671)

What Operating System were you using and what are your hardware
specifications?

Windows 7 ultimate 64 Bits
i7 2600k 3,4 GHz
Nvidia GTX 550Ti (1GBDDR5) DirectX111 in-game
16 GB Ram DDR3

What should i do? I tried a revision of dolphin where it worked perfectly (r7671) but i cannot use it for all roms, some graphical lacks.

Why is this invalid?

  1. You did not fill out the issue template properly. "All games i tried" (we do not know which games these are)
  2. IR pointer works perfectly fine.

My complete guess is that you are testing a game that does not even show a pointer!

OK, OK: i'm filling it properly.
But i have remark that i think its an input caption/config related issue
that has to do with the mouse; Dolphin r7671 worked perfectly on this
aspect, But gives me some graphical errors on SSBB.

Brawl doesn't offer "pointing interaction". I don't think Monster Hunter 3 does either. And 3.5-367 isn't the latest rev, you're downloading Dolphin from the wrong site. Go get the actual current rev: http://dolphin-emu.org/download/

@ "THEY OFFER POINTING INTERACTION"
Brawl most definitely does NOT have an IR controlled pointer.

Have you hit the home button and noticed how the pointer works there?
