Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Run Metal Slug Anthology for the Wii (PAL Version) using OpenGL or DX9
    2.
    3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The intro should finish and show the start screen so you can select game
version etc. Also pressing a button of any kind should not freeze the game.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
XP64 with SVN 2069,2195 & 2276 all give same result.

Please provide any additional information below.
There are no errors shown or given it just stops (freezes)

any button on the keyboard or any button that's mapped to a gcn button?

any button mapped to the controller. In my case a 360 pad.

The game does not play past the intro. If you press no buttons and let the intro run
once it is complete it goes to a black or white screen then the emu just hangs /
stops (freezes).
If you go ahead and press a button on the controller whilst the intro is running the
emu just stops / hangs (freezes).
I would think it is a emu issue with this game. Is there any debugging I can do?

No, I'm not a dev and frankly don't really have a clue how to use the debugger. If
you think you'll be better at figuring it out, you're welcome to try. The problem is
that it can't load the game menu, as is the problem with quite a few games. I don't
own the game and therefore can't help you, but I have a game that needs to be
debugged (see issue 360), so if you can tell me how to debug it I am very willing to
learn :)
