Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Start a RE:RE game with Chris, once in the dining room, go through the
    lonely door at the end, once through it go towards the end of the hall,
    pass the scissor doors and down some stairs.
  2. Did you see what happened?
  3. Basically there's no shadows being cast from the player anywhere, BUT on
    that tiny staircase leading down, there's shadows! What's goin on?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Correct shadow rendering.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r2397 XPSP3 32bit, JIT/JITIL

Please provide any additional information below.
Shadows appear only when you examine items, except for that staircase i
just described.

Also affects lights effects, they sometimes disappear just like the shadows (seen in
Resident Evil 0, but the issue is actually the same as there)

@r4274
Ok, tested with DX-plugin - no shadows at all :P
OpenGL-plugin: the state is still the same as I already described it here:
