Description

Have you searched the issue tracker for a similar issue? Yes

Game Name? Any Wii game

Game ID? N/A

What went wrong? When a game times out because nothing has been pressed on the wiimote for a period of time, one cannot resume gameplay with the Emulated WiiMote configuration. Pressing any button doesn't resume the game. Current using xinput controller 'Logitech F510'.

What did you expect to happen? Pressing a button should allow for the game to continue and not to be stuck on WiiMote Disconnected screen.

What steps will reproduce the problem? Use the emulated wiimote setting and wait for a game to time you out by not pressing anything for a while. Then try to press a button to resume.

What version of Dolphin were you using (please test the latest version
from http://dolphin-emu.org/download first, 3.5 or 3.5-367 are not valid
tests!)? dolphin-master-3.5-1504-x64

64 or 32 bit Dolphin? 64

What version of Dolphin used to work? Unknown

What Operating System were you using and what are your hardware
specifications? Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium

64 or 32 bit Operating system? 64

Can you make it so that F5 is 'pressed' during any button press with each slot for the emulated controller corresponding to those hotkeys:
controller slot 1 = F5
slot 2 = F6
slot 3 = F7
slot 4 = F8

So that the user wouldn't have to keep using the keyboard other than to start the emulator?

Out of all of the emulators, programs, settings, and hotkeys for pc, it is very difficult to remember every hotkey configuration.

The hotkeys can be changed to your liking.

Wow, so I can map that hotkey to a button on my controller from the .ini? How do I do that (excuse my ignorance)?

You could with the help of a program such as joy2key. Currently we don't support mapping hotkeys to a controller. You can do so from options->hotkey settings though.
