Game Name?
Mario Kart Wii

What went wrong?
When in a race (and not at all in the menus) characters and item boxes turn completely black. Some objects that resemble characters (Example: Giant Luigi Statue in Luigi Circuit) also turn black. I have however noticed that it is definately not a texture issue. Upon completing a race a was able to see the colours of my driver (Mario) breifly as he passed a certain spot. The colours were very dark though. This leads me to believe that this is actually a lighting issue, and the black is just a very dark shadow being cast over the characters.

What did you expect to happen?
I expected the characters to look normal, as they did in the character select menu.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
I don't even know how to prevent the problem.

What version of Dolphin were you using (please test the latest version
from http://dolphin-emu.org/download first, 3.5 or 3.5-367 are not valid
tests!)?
... 3.5.

64 or 32 bit Dolphin?
64 bit

What version of Dolphin used to work?
None known.

What Operating System were you using and what are your hardware
specifications?

Any other relevant information or links to logs:
Here's a picture. As you can see, some bikes are unnaffected by this issue. It may be hard to notice, but glass is also unaffected (likely because it's transparent). No item boxes are visible in the image, so I'll just describe them. They're all black but still have sparkles.

As explained in your other issue:

If you're not using the latest build, what's the point in creating an issue report? The issue you're seeing might not even exist anymore. The game could be running perfectly or have a completely different issue altogether. You're never going to know what the story is until you use the latest development version.

Sorry mmercado190, but the user reporting the issue needs to stop and evaluate first. Please file a new bug report if you still experience this issue on the latest development build and fill out the entirety of the issue template when doing so.
