You mean it crashes as soon as you game? I play with it all the time and dont have an issue. I have an nvidia gpu and it gives me a nice boost in fps.

HD6770 is AMD Radeon, not NVIDIA.

Yes I know. What I mean is please dont get rid of the setting for all users as for Nvidia users it giver a nice fps boost. thanks.

It'd only be disabled for known GPUs/drivers on which it's known to not work.

I can add that 6xxx and 7xxx nVidia cards do not work with Vertex Streaming. Dolphin white screens immediately.

It is still configureable, but it won't be used. The nice way is to gray out this option on amd gpus, but this depends on issue 6456.

4.0 will not be shipping with an option that crashes Dolphin on some systems. If you don't want to fix this issue the only other alternative is to remove the option and make OpenGL slow.

I think I've missed the link to revision 15df7b3445f5 as the hacked buffer can't be used on affected drivers. But I'll create an alert instead of just ignore this config silently.
