Your answers are here!

Game Name?
Super Smash Bros Brawl

Game ID?
RSBp01

What went wrong?
After a few matches (half way all the matches or almost at the end Dolphin crashes everytime. In the past I everytime saw that the "block cache" was cleared after every match, but now I don't see it anymore. Maybe this is the cause of it; that the cache gets full and that then Dolphin crashes?

What did you expect to happen instead?
No crashes.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have played the game and know its level names. Be as
detailed as possible.]
1.Play a few battles against an other character.

Dolphin 3.5 and Dolphin 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs. Have you tested with the latest version from
http://dolphin-emu.org/download ? Yes

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-44

Which version of Dolphin used to work?
3.5-1348 (sorry, this was the oldest version I had on my system.)

What are your PC specifications (example: Operating System, CPU and GPU)?

64 or 32 bit Operating System?
64

64 or 32 bit Dolphin?
64

Please upload a minidump. On Windows 7, this can be obtained as follows: in the "Do you want to send more information about the problem?" dialog that appears after a crash, click "View Details", and copy the .mdmp file listed there before closing the dialog.

The code/block cache messages have been removed (because they confuse dumb people), but the caches still clear themselves when necessary.

But now this bug occured when I paused Dolphin during play SSBB. And this bug also happend a few times with Mario Kart Wii. But I don't have this option to see details of the crash and I can only close Dolphin. How do I then get that minidump?

Strangely, it seems that this issue is fixed in the latest development build.

Multiple players testing were in 2 - 3 hour sessions of Brawl and Project M. Not one crash in 4.0-515 (in the dualcore netplay branch)

Seriously wondering about the validity of this report, or if it's been fixed.

  • Status changed from Questionable to Invalid

No response + plenty of testing from my friends makes me think this is user error. For instance, one of my friends was having crashing after several matches, but it turned out to be video card issues. Marking as invalid, will reopen upon further proof.

Sorry for not responding, now everything seems okey, these crashes seems to be fixed in the "snapshot" builds.
