what the? I'm on 327.23 and its been fine here. In fact its been fine from, 3.5 - 4.0 and up.

Are you saying 3.0-692 the last version that worked or the first version which didn't work?
Updated by ms.techsupport about 11 years ago
3.0-692 was the last version that worked.

OpenGL is fine here, as it is for tons of users. Can you provide any more information? What builds between 3.0-692 and 4.0-67 have you tried? Are you using JITIL?
3.0-692 = r8106b115efc7

Maybe check your Nvidia driver control panel settings? I had antialiasing forced on and forgot about it because it doesn't have any effect (most games seem to ignore it with Nvidia cards...) but while I had it forced on, black screen in OpenGL only.

Happened to me with fglrx in Gentoo. Resolved by #6's solution. If there were some way to work around this it might save the team some time with having to deal with "ZOMG MUH BLACK SCREEN IN OPENGGLL OMZZZ" in the forums.

#6 was dead on the mark. Had this same issue and tried everything in dolphin to fix it. So glad I found this thread.

yeah, there is a way to detect this in dolphin and it's already implemented for a half year. But it was too late for 4.0, so it's only in current development builds. If you've tried one of them once, you would have got the message to disable antialiasing ;)
Updated by vamp658 about 10 years ago
I checked my forced antialiasing, and I had it disabled, but I'm still getting the black screen with audio only.
Currently running Dolphin 4.0-3289
Updated by degasus about 10 years ago
On current master, you don't have to check for antialiasing. Dolphin now reports this issue.
Do you have an outdated driver? I remember a black screen issue about half a year ago.

Is anybody else having this issue? I'm trying to get into emulation for my first time, and while I've searched around a fair bit, I still have this issue. Latest version of Directx and Dolphin, on a Windows 8.1 computer. Specs are all up to date, capable of playing other graphics-intensive games just fine. But for this game, I get a black screen, only shows something else when it's the yellow text during boot-up. I have full audio, but nothing else.

I have the same problem as #14, only a Windows 7 is running here, but that shouldn't be the problem, i guess.
The yellows text comes up, the game is running, i can hear the audio, the keys work but black screen stays..

Having the issue here as well in Windows 7. Open GL is black screen with perfect audio. DX shows a green scrambled screen with perfect audio. I even tried the old "change theme to classic" work around with no change.

I have the same issue. But not on all games. And those I can get to run, do so extremely slow.
Set up:
windows 8.1
Quad Core AMD 8650 G
2.5 Ghz
8 gig RAM
1 TB SDD
