Game Name?
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures

Game ID?
G4SE01

What went wrong?
After a short time playing (sometimes less than a minute), game audio freezes, playing one particular sound continuously.

What did you expect to happen instead?
I expected sound to play normally.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have played the game and know its level names. Be as
detailed as possible.]

  1. Select DSP HLE for sound emulation.
  2. Boot Four Swords Adventures
  3. Play though a few levels. Sometimes it happens immediately, sometimes to doesn't happen until the third level in or so.

Which version of Dolphin used to work?
Never tried on anything older.

What are your PC specifications (example: Operating System, CPU and GPU)?
Microsoft Windows 8; Intel Core i7-4700HQ @3.2GHz; nVidia GeForce GTX 765M

64 or 32 bit Operating System?
64-bit

64 or 32 bit Dolphin?
64-bit

I should note that gameplay and video rendering continue to function normally.

Crap.

It only happens when the game slows down, plus you can use LLE-Audio to fix it. It's just typical Zelda Ucode stuff. Either probably be merged.

  • Status changed from New to Accepted

Seems unique among the Zelda ucode errors. Marking as accepted if only because I haven't seen any of the other games do this particular bug in my testing.

The key to this issue seems to be using tab or causing slowdown. Running at full speed I absolutely cannot reproduce it. And I cannot reproduce it on demand.

  • Status changed from Accepted to Fixed

Fixed by the recent Zelda Ucode changes that made HLE synchronized. JMC tested it but he's too lazy to mark it. :P
