high pitch sounds are breaking in dolphin 4

This bug affects both windows and and linux versions, equally!

sound is breaking

What did you expect to happen instead?
like dolphin 3.5 no breaking of sound

What steps will reproduce the problem?
play the game when + is selected (the music pitch goes higher), then the sound breaking is evident.

Dolphin 3.5 and Dolphin 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs. Have you tested with the latest version from

Does this issue occur both in DSP HLE and DSP LLE mode?

There are other games with the same problem; This should only happen in DSP-HLE. If you can confirm that, then I'll merge this into the other issues.

You're right, it only happens with DSP-HLE and thankfully DsP LLE sound works as expected.

Please do merge with the other related bugs.
