What went wrong?
--The game now just loads a black screen on both D3D and OpenGL renderers.
The emulator crashes when trying to use the software renderer. I think this is due to the removal of the D3D9 backend
What did you expect to happen instead?
--The game to load and be extremely laggy (as always due to MMU)
What steps will reproduce the problem?

detailed as possible.]
- Load the game in Dolphin using either backend
- Stare at a black screen
Dolphin 3.5 and Dolphin 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs. Have you tested with the latest version from
http://dolphin-emu.org/download ?

--Nope. The game fails on every setting tried.

If you add an empty file named portable.txt in the same folder as the Dolphin exe, this game will work in 4.0 and 4.0.1. Alternatively, check the "Enable MMU" option in the game properties.
Co-incidentally, the MMU is broken in the current development version of Dolphin.
