Your answers are here!
Game Name?
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
Game ID?
GGSEA4
What went wrong?
When you have to fight Vulcan Raven inside the frozen hangar (it's the 2nd time you fight him), he starts firing his minigun, and the moment this happens the game just freezes up and you're forced to close Dolphin.
What did you expect to happen instead?
The opposite of what I mentioned above. It's supposed to work like normal, you're not supposed to be having a game freeze when he starts shooting.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have played the game and know its level names. Be as
detailed as possible.]
- Simply reach the Frozen Hangar where you meet up with Vulcan Raven again.
- The boss fight will initiate, and it's perfectly fine until Raven starts firing his gun, this is the exact moment it freezes. It's like it just goes in an infinite loop.
Dolphin 3.5 and Dolphin 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs. Have you tested with the latest version from
http://dolphin-emu.org/download ?
Yes.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0, 4.0-146, 4.0-201
Which version of Dolphin used to work?
N/A
What are your PC specifications (example: Operating System, CPU and GPU)?
Windows 7 x64, Intel Core i7-920, Sapphire ATI RADEON HD5850
64 or 32 bit Operating System?

64 or 32 bit Dolphin?

I should mention that I also tried this with LLE Recompiler, and LLE Interpreter for DSP settings. Since some people mentioned that it's supposed to help with crashes/freezes.

Thanks! If you need a Save File let me know, I have one right before the fight.

That would make things a lot faster certainly.

A cargo elevator will take you down as you load the game, just proceed north into the door with the Lv.6 marked on it. Then a cutscene will happen, (press start to skip it if you want), and then the boss fight begins. The game will freeze when he starts firing his weapon. (at least that's what's happening here, and I've tried even more versions now).

- Status changed from New to Invalid
Sorry to say but this is invalid. Played through the fight just fine on default settings in 4.0-298.
Google winmd5 and check the MD5 of your disc and I'll compare them with mine. It's possible you have a bad dump.

You were right, it was a bad dump apparently. I did it again and tried playing again, ended up with an entirely different MD5 too; 8D316F3B9438977101B7B8E0CB5C1418 for disc 2, and it works fine now.
