Only happens in D3D; seems to have happened since the GL Choose branch merge.

Sometimes it doesn't happen.
Also minor bug if you open the properties panel while the game is loading, you can change the backend midgame resulting in a crash.

I don't know, but OpenGL seems to work perfectly.

Yeah, OGL works fine for me as well. That only confirms we have the same problem.

I've been taking advantage of the fact that OpenGL doesn't do it to fix it with D3D... which is odd. Simply starting the game with OpenGL, opening the graphics window, then stopping the emulation and switching it to D3D fixes it for D3D for as long as the emulator is running.

↑ this is very true, so what exactly is the problem?

I'm not quite sure when it happened, but it appears to be fixed on my end. Tested with Brawl among other games, and it works just fine now. Tested on the slightly old 4.0-1001, and 1019.

  • Status changed from Questionable to Fixed

This is no longer happening, not entirely sure which build fixed it. Will investigate it if need be.
