Using Dolphin 4.0.2, try enabling Progressive Scan mode under the advanced graphics options.
Also, double check that you have a complete disc dump. The MD5 of the disc image should be:

Progressive Scan mode does nothing. As soon as the option to enable progressive scan apears on the screen it all goes black.
$ md5sum.exe -b ./edark.gcm
118e4cbf529719528f15d065130511e2 *./edark.gcm
ISO looks good, I made it from my disk so it should be.
I just tried it from my Windows pc.
Specs are
Core i7-3820 @3.6Ghz
32GB Ram
Win7 Pro 64bit
Nvidia 680GTX
Does the same thing. Its a newer Dolphin version tho
4.0.984
It is restricted to OpenGL. The DirectX renderer seems to be unaffected.

Same is happening here, ubuntu 64bit. Haven't found a way to get this working, other than using an older version of the emulator.
