Game Name?
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Game ID?
Unknown
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
Whenever I try to load a file with Dolphin already open, the program will not respond. If I open the file via Dolphin, the file will try to appear in a pop up window, but the program will crash before anything can load.
What did you expect to happen instead?
I expected for the title screen to actually appear and for the game to be playable.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have ever played the game and know any level names. Be as
specific as possible.]
- Click the file
- When a window pops up, stating that the file needs to be opened with an application, click "Choose Application..."
- Choose to open with Dolphin
- Dolphin should open along with a pop up window, but before an image can load, the application will shut down
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
I have not tried any older versions of Dolphin
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Macbook Pro (OS X 10.9.2)
Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Graphics: Intel Iris 1024 MB
Are you using the 32 or the 64 bit version of Dolphin?
Not sure...
Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
I have tried to load with rar, and ROM files as well with just as much of a lack of results.

Most likely either a bad dump of WW or some wider issue with your config/setup. Have you tried any other games?

Not at the moment, but I was planning to. Is there a specific difference between iso, rar, and ROM files? I haven't been able to find anything on the internet, but I was wondering if it would effect the program differently...

You should be unpacking from .rar/.zip/.7z to .iso/.wbfs/.gcm/.gcz, but if you need to do that in the first place, you're clearly pirating the game instead of dumping the game from an original disc. We don't provide support for pirates here. (Most of the GC/Wii game dumps you find online are bad dumps anyway, FYI.)

Ah... I apologize, I didn't realize the difference. Thank you for informing me.
