Description

Game Name?

Goldeneye Wii 007

Game ID?
SJBP52

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
During the first mission (Dam), a barcode pattern glitch of lines appears at the bottom of the screen.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Play the game past the tutorial until dam level
  2. I first noticed the glitch during the truck crash (less than 10mins into the level). It also appears at random and disappears after a few seconds.

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?

4.0-1624

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)

Windows x64, nvidia, intel

This is not a big deal but I thought you might want to know. Great performance btw, seems improved from 4.0.

I made an album of the problem:

It seems to disappear when enabling EFB to RAM, but halves the frame rate. You can see the difference in the second to last image.

Yeah, I was going to mention that earlier but I couldn't spot the bug in the first screenshot.

This game utilises EFB to RAM to render the graphics properly. When EFB to RAM is disabled by using the EFB to texture option, the games loses some of its texture data which results in the corruption/glitch that you are seeing.

There are two other things I noticed. You can tell me if they qualify as an issue. First, the night vision is very dark. It's darker than without night vision. Second, when I use EFB to RAM, it starts lagging very badly after I die. I need to reset it to get normal performance again (I use cache).
