OGL wireframe mode renders OSD in wireframe and does not work at all with XFB Real

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.

Running any game with wireframe on in d3d results in the OSD also displaying all messages in wireframe, thus making any errors, configuration information or fps impossible to read. This dos not happen on D3D. Additionally, wireframe with real xfb set on any game results in at most one frame of wireframe before freezing or turning black, although the game itself does not freeze. Again works perfectly in D3D

What did you expect to happen instead?
Work like it does in D3D

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
Many versions 4.02 stable through 4-2450

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Not that I know of.

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating

the osd is in wireframe no matter the setting, not just in real xfb by the way.

And with real XFB on you can see the wireframe OSD, just not any of th actual emulation, except you can see the the last few pixels on both sides of a emulated window that is not stretched to screen, in what I'm assuming is wireframe, though it actually looks like a part of the fully rendered image, hard to tell from a few pixels though.
