Savestates crash dolphin when Synchronize GPU Thread enabled
No specific game - discovered it first in F-Zero, but a cursory check shows is happening in Soul Calibur, Double Dash, Metroid, and others
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
When playing a game with Synchronize GPU Thread enabled, saving or loading a savestate will cause an immediate softlock about 80% of the time.
What did you expect to happen instead?
Savestates would work
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn on Synchronize GPU
2. Start a game
3. Press shift-F1
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0 r2826 (yesterday's build)
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
It affects all versions since at least 4.0.0
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
