Description

Game Name?

Sonic Colors

Game ID?

SNCE8P

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.

Dolphin crashes when you play those acts.

What did you expect to happen instead?

Play without any crashes

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Go to Tropical Resort
  2. Play either Act 1 or the Boss
  3. Watch dolphin crash

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?

4.0-3518
4.0.2

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?

Yes, I played on 4.0.2 without any crashes before upgrading to the latest dev build.

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
AMD Phenom II X4 810
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (EVGA)

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

The crash gave no logs.

Surprising enough, Tropical Resort Act 1 does not crash when you disable audio output. The boss still crashes either way.

I have disable the texture project as well and it still crashes.

Can you try narrowing down to the build that caused this regression?

I have tested the JITIL Recompiler on 4.0-3571 to see that it actually works. Not too sure if Interpreter has this issue though.

if it's still occurring for you, then I'll reopen. There is likely a setting that is triggering it. If it is still happening to you, I want to know all of your settings, graphics, config, wiimote, etc.
