closedSuper Mario Galaxy no cursor with mouse?
0%
Description
Game Name?
Super Mario Galaxy
Game ID?
RMGP
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
My cursor doesn't appear on screen, but via the input display I can see I can move it.
What did you expect to happen instead?
That I'd see the cursor and play the game normally.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Start the game
- Press A and B at the same time on the title screen
- At the next screen you are supposed to select a save file with your Wiimote cursor, but there is no Wiimote cursor for me.
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
Dolphin 4.0-1065
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
No
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,

My Emulation screen and settings. Maybe it has something to do with the center/width/height settings?
Thanks in advance,

Your mouse isn't being detected. Try reconfiguring it.

Do you see your mouse at all in the controller configuration? Does it show up when you're hovering over the game window. Make sure to check "Enable Background Input" when testing this.

Yes I do see the little red dot moving, if that is what you mean.

Yet you're not able to see it in game? Can you try again with the Background Input enabled? It really doesn't make sense to not be working if it can detect it.

I have BG input enabled, and I also see the IR values changing (because I have input display on) but The pointer isn't there.

I wonder if the graphics drivers are failing some kind of detection...
Try the latest development builds available.

I'm thinking that it's something on your end, but I don't know what could be messed up.

I just noticed something. Your sensor bar position is disabled. what the hell? can you take a screenshot of the Dolphin Wiimote Configuration with none of hte other windows open?
Updated by MinecraftMiner1111 over 10 years ago
Ok, I will do it as soon as possible.

This is what it looks like when I only have Dolphin's main window open and the Wiimote Config screen (no emulation screen):

Nevermind, I noticed changing the sensor bar position to Top and increasing the sensitivity by a bit fixed it!
Thank you for all the help though!
