Description

Dolphin currently lists Virtual Console games and Wii Channels as WiiWare titles. I would like for these games be sorted into their own section, separate from WiiWare games.

Both the Dolphin Wiki and the compatibility list on the website already have them sorted separately, complete with different icons.

There's no way to automatically determine this in a way that won't have errors. Not sure if we want to include a database of VC games just for this...

Can't system codes be used to identify Virtual Console games and System Channels?

Mostly, but there are some special snowflakes that ignored that.

Is there are, then this feature would be pointless.

Aside from a few homebrew titles, I can't seem to find any .WAD files that deviate from the system code standard. Does anyone have an example of one that ignores the system code standards?

All the MSX VC games have the same gameID for me.

Even if the MSX titles have the same GameID they'd still be listed as VC with this proposed idea, right?

So is there any example of where this would go wrong?

No, I misread their IDs. They have unique IDs, I'm just dumb.
