Description

Game Name?
True Crime: Streets of LA (NTSC)

Game ID?
GTLE52

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
Well, the main menu doesn't display at all.

What did you expect to happen instead?
Here's what you're supposed to see on this screen:
http://www.mobygames.com/images/shots/l/72426-true-crime-streets-of-la-xbox-screenshot-main-menus.jpg
That's an XBox screenshot, but the GCN version looks the same.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Boot the game and proceed to the main menu.

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-4117, with all the most accurate video settings and no enhancements. It's even broken in software renderer.

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
It works in 4.0.2. I'll try to pin down an exact revision that broke it.

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Core i5 2400 @3.1GHz
NVidia GeForce GTX550Ti
8GiB RAM

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
I tried fiddling with every video setting, both OpenGL and Direct3D, and even Software renderer. Nothing works.

No it's not. This is a different issue, since the problem still exists in 4.0-4863 after the merge which closed issue 6914.
