Description

I have a Plantronics Gamecon 780 Headphones, which have Dolby 7.1 Surround sound, which can be toggled on and off by the software provided by Plantronics and by a physical button in the left side of the headphones.

The problem is, whenever I try to use any sort of Real Wiimote (Connect it to the computer and then pair it up), hitting the "Refresh" button makes exactly the same effect as the toggle button in the headphones.

This issue was tested in stable branches of Dolphin 4.0, 4.0.2 and latest unstable release 4.0-4191. Issue didn't happen in 3.0-235, 3.0-362, 3.0-765 nor latest stable 3.5 release, so I'm assuming issue popped up since 4.0 and above.

It will be kind of hard to reproduce steps without the named hardware, but these are:
0. Having the headphones connected in any USB port and the Gamecon 780 software installed.

  1. Open the Wiimote configuration Menu, and put at least 1 Real Wiimote (doesn't matter if 1,2,3 or 4). You don't need to really connect any Wiimote, you only have to tell Dolphin that you are going to use one
  2. Hit the "Refresh" button.

This happens always, doesn't matters if I don't have any Bluetooth dongle connected or even a paired Wiimote.

Used Operating Systems:
-Windows 8.1 update 1 x64
-Windows 7 SP1 x64
