What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.

What did you expect to happen instead?

Should change XFB to Real on startup

versions of Dolphin used to work?

No, N/A

We usually don't force RealXFB for videos alone due to the fact that it locks the game at 1x IR.

makes sense. but for this game in particular on boot it looks like the game wont even load as it just plays a black screen, you have to sit there and mash start for a good minute to get through all the broken cutscenes.

if you wont force it, a hover-over note would suffice. the wiki page for this game is barren so i decided to do some testing for it and i almost thought it didnt work at all because of this.

That's understandable; it's just our generic policy on the situation.

JMC, real xfb is enforced if videos are missing, and to be frank there is not much real "need" for the option besides missing videos (and some homebrew i think). What you say is wrong, check how many games have the option enforced already in the database by searching for the "UseRealXFB = True" line. Many gamecube games lacked the power for realistic cutscenes and used videos, making you miss the storyline without them. Luckily not all of them need real xfb to work, but a lot do.

Umm, I'm going by what's been said in the IRC/Wiki (I think?) before. Usually if all a game is missing is videos, it goes ignored.

I'm on the side of enabling it if it's needed, so, if you accept it, I'm all good with that!

I suppose you were lucky and don't have many games that need it and have it enforced, believe me they are a lot, and even a few wii games need it, a quick search gave me 122 isos (including different regions) already in the database that have it enforced. Close to 40 - 50 different games that is.

Chicken Little: Ace in Action - RCLE4Q is another one that needs this then. It never renders anything without RealXFB.

Ok, i will add that too, unfortunately my gameini pr just got merged today so it might take a while for these to be add.
