Description

In GPad/Wiimote Configuration when I left click an option to assign a new key to it the option shows the [waiting] string and will take the next key as an assignment In this case pressing the "Enter" key on my keyboard will not work.

Assigning any keyboard key and then pressing "Enter" will assign the option as Return.

Can you reproduce this JMC? Is there anywhere else these options are?
NB. Title should be GCPad.

On windows enter = return. You aren't going to find a keyboard with separate enter and return nowadays.

No, no that's not what I mean. Assign any key like "K" for example now press enter. Check behaviour

  • Status changed from New to Invalid

This doesn't have enough information to be useful, as OS, type of keyboard, among other things can matter.

The good news is I think I know what's wrong anyway. A lot of the time, you can have multiple input devices, and you'll need to select the right one for the dialogue to look for it. Try flipping through the available input devices to find the right one.

Just reading this myself. Sorry this issue is pretty unclear.

I'll just post a patch soon to fix it myself.
