Also happens during the ship-fixing-itself-up-a-bit cutscene after the ship sucks up its engine.

You don't even need a save, this is on the first day.
-Start a new file, feel free to hold tab through the initial cutscenes.
-Feel free to press B, then A to ignore Olimar's internal thoughts every time they come up.
-Walk up to the red Onion nearby to activate a cutscene where you get the 0003 PanicAlerts.
-Pluck out the Pikmin, throw it at a nearby Pellet Posy with A to knock it down, then again to carry the pellet to the onion to make two more Pikmin.
-Repeat for other pellets/posies until you have 10 Pikmin.
-Push the nearby cardboard box.
-Walk up to that engine and get the 0005 PanicAlerts.
-Get more pellets until you have 20 Pikmin. (You can get a max of 25 Pikmin on the first day.)
-C-stick your Pikmin to carry that engine to your ship and get more 0005 PanicAlerts in the resulting cutscene.

Or, y'know, start a new file and follow the on-screen instructions instead because it's not a particularly incomprehensible game.

Sure, but fixing this kind of issues usually requires me to reach that point in the game 20-30 times. So if there is a way to reproduce it that doesn't require me to play for 5min every time, I'd appreciate it :)
