Description

Game Name?
Mario Kart Wii

Game ID?
RMCP01

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
When using NVIDIA 3D Vision, there's quite a lot of graphic bugs on every course.

What did you expect to happen instead?
Everything should look normal, just in stereoscopic 3D.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have ever played the game and know any level names. Be as
specific as possible.]
1.In the Dolphin graphics settings, choose exclusive fullscreen, Direct3D and in the Features tab select 3D Vision as the 3D mode.
0.Launch the game and activate your 3D Vision setup.
1.Go to singleplayer mode
2.Choose Grand Prix
3.Choose Mushroom Cup

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-4867

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
4.0-3966 worked flawlessly

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Win8.1 64-Bit
Intel Core i7 3820 (4 cores, 3.6 GHz, 2 Threads/core)
12 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 (ZOTAC AMP! EXTREME Edition)
NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 Kit, used together with an ASUS PG278Q Monitor

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

Could you make a screenshot of the emulator running in Side-by-Side mode? You can just use the normal Dolphin screenshot function for that.

I want to see whether the bug is specific to our 3D Vision code.

This issue is caused by build 4.0-4480: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/f00ad2e65c9136d16a93aeec7c225a271d5adf95/

It is unrelated to our 3D Vision support code, build 4.0-4480 was merged far before D3D even supported our native 3D.

Thanks. That seems to have fixed it.
And everything looks fine in sbs mode, to answer your question.
Thanks alot! Keep up that good work :)
(Just being curious: what was the culprit?)

A very small completely unrelated hack in a projection matrix that 3D Vision doesn't even need. But as soon as 3D Vision saw that projection matrix it would freak out and completely destroy our rendering code.

All in all bad drivers, business as usual at Dolphin.
