Game Name?
Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3
Game ID?
RDSE70
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
EFB to Texture creates an overwhelmingly bright light bloom over everything in-game, especially noticeable over the landscapes.
What did you expect to happen instead?
EFB to Texture should be a more performance friendly option, but instead players are stuck using the slower EFB to RAM unless they can tolerate dealing with such an annoying graphical bug. I've seen this complained about in the forum thread for this game as well.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Setting EFB to Texture.
- Any normal gameplay section aside from menus will produce the bug.
- EFB to RAM seems to fix it, but hampers performance heavily.
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-5396, the most recent dev release at the time of this posting.
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
I don't recall having this problem on the stable 4.0 release from a year ago, but the newer dev release performs better with this game in general, aside from this annoying bug.

whining about EFB to RAM being slow
If I had a nickel for every time I saw this complaint, I'd be able to buy everything on my PCPartPicker list. Lucky for you, magumagu claims to be in the process of fixing this for EFB to Texture (see Issue 8156). I hope whatever he does also fixes ZTP's map entirely, color and all - I'm tired of having a toggle for the EFB setting at all.
