Hmm, it actually happens more often then I thought, it can crash on non saving transitions as well. Also, I'm not sure how pertinent this is but I'm using a wii u gamecube adapter.

Under device settings, are you using GCI Folder or Memory Card?
Updated by kingofshamans about 10 years ago
I tried using GCI Folder but there was no difference. I don't believe its a saving issue now. I started crashing during any stage transition where the screen fades to black. ie. entering a portal, or entering a stage.

- Status changed from New to Invalid
I think it's a driver issue. This issue report doesn't have enough information, and has nothing to do with memory cards. Please re-report it with a coredump in latest development, and we'll get to you.
Getting a coredump
Crash Dolphin. Do not close the window
Open Task Manager, find Dolphin.exe
Right click, create dump file.
Compress and upload. Note which revision of Dolphin it was made on.
This isn't really invalid based on the information, I don't have another status to give it though.
