What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
When firing the charge beam, the subtle distortion effect that should appear is replaced by a box with much more extreme distortion.
What did you expect to happen instead?
Normal distortion.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Use the OpenGL backend, with some level of AA enabled.
- Start up any Metroid Prime game.
- Charge and fire the Power Beam.
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-5819 and up.
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Works fine in 4.0-5817. 4.0-5819 is where the issue started.
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Windows 7 (64-bit), Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.3GHz, AMD Radeon Powercolor AX6870 w/ 1GB VRAM.
Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
